His themed collections include: 'Afghanistan Repudiated Western Ideals', 'Fallen Angels' etc., Gallinao's creative fashion reflects his personal life. Love of fine costume, dressing up and a sense of the Baroque. A total clash of historical eras, which have a sense of romance coupled with modern precision tailoring. Infamous looks include the 1930's style bias-cut gowns and pants. His clothes are often extravagantly shocking and range from updated 19th century crinolines to scottish kilts, and gangster garb. Cut-away T-shirts, worn loosely over each other, leaving parts of the arms and shoulders exposed. Ideas originating in the London street Punk style. In the late 80's liberated the corset and recreated it as outerwear. Fetishism, futurism and '40's French sailor suits appear in his collections.
